Include | Welby Grange, our school set in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside near
Melton Mowbray.
Victoria brings a wealth of experience in inclusive education and a genuine passion for
nature-based, therapeutic learning. Her appointment marks an exciting new chapter for
Include | Welby Grange as we continue to build a school where all children can thrive.
About Victoria
Victoria’s career in education has been shaped by a deep belief that every child has
unique strengths waiting to be discovered. She is a strong advocate for outdoor learning
and therapeutic approaches, and understands how natural environments can transform
outcomes for young people.
“I am thrilled to be joining Include | Welby Grange,” said Victoria. “The countryside setting
here is truly special. Being surrounded by nature gives our learners the space and calm
they need to feel safe, to regulate, and to rediscover their love of learning. I cannot wait to
get started.”
Her Vision for the School
Victoria’s vision for Include | Welby Grange is rooted in the belief that when children feel
safe and connected to the world around them, learning follows naturally. She is committed
to making the most of the school’s peaceful setting, with outdoor therapy, garden-based
learning, and forest school activities at the heart of daily life.
“My focus will always be on our learners,” Victoria added. “I want every young person who
comes here to feel that this is their place. Somewhere they belong, somewhere they can
grow, and somewhere they are proud to be part of. Our countryside setting gives us
something really unique, and I want every child to benefit from that.”
Victoria is also keen to build strong connections with families and partner organisations
across the East Midlands, ensuring Include | Welby Grange serves its wider community.
